Founder & CEO
Adam Klaus
Adam has been working in the automotive repair business for over 34 years, starting in a General Motors dealership in his hometown and then in a local dealership from 1991 to 1998. He has been working at Advanced Automotive from 1998 to present, specializing in vehicles produced by Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
Service Manager & Service Consultant
Kyle McCoy
​Kyle has been working in the automotive field since 1985. He has nine years experience as an automotive technician on all general repairs, and worked as a rebuilder in a transmission repair shop. Kyle has dealership experience as a service consultant and worked as a parts specialist at a heavy equipment dealership. He has been employed at Advanced Automotive since October of 1999 as the service manager and service consultant. Kyle enjoys watching various sports activities along with his wife and two boys. He enjoys the outdoors and playing golf with family and friends.
Service Cosultant
Rachael Banda
​Rachael has been working in the automotive field since 2003. She has 21 years of experience as a parts specialist, service consultant and warranty administrator with dealership and independent automotive businesses. Rachael has been employed at Advanced Automotive since February of 2018. She loves spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids which are her world. Rachael also enjoys camping, beach time, sports, taking care of their farm animals and Buc-ee's.
Mechanic
David Sather
David has 26 years of General Motors dealership experience as a mechanic and as a working shop foreman. He specialized in diagnostics, electrical, A/C, and Diesels before becoming a working shop foreman and performing extensive diagnosing and extensive factory training to be able to perform any and all necessary repairs on all GM vehicles. David has experience as a automotive professor teaching classes at night at a local college for about two years. David has been employed at Advanced Automotive since April of 2011. He has been in the automotive repair business since 1986 and has many years of experience in performing automotive repairs on all makes and models of vehicles. David enjoys hunting and fishing with his son and spending time helping his parents with taking care of their two 100 plus acre farms in Clifton, Texas.
Mechanic
Tommy Willis
Tommy has been working in the automotive repair business since 1978 with about 20 years experience in various dealerships and numerous years in different independent automotive repair businesses. He has an associate degree of applied science from TSTC. Tommy has been employed at Advanced Automotive since May 2013. He enjoys spending time taking care of his farm animals and most importantly spending time with his family.
Mechanic
Boyd Howard
​Boyd has been in the automotive industry since 1996, growing the family garage until the business was dissolved in 2022. He joined Advanced Automotive in January 2023, having spent 26 years learning auto mechanics from his father and through hard knocks. Boyd’s natural inquisitiveness in the repair, rebuild, and salvage world make him a wonderful person to know, and a trusted, reliable source of information. Boyd is a servant of God, a family man, and a lover of all things Christmas. Boyd’s hobbies include camping and barbecuing the right way, low and slow.
